Say where it came from
Live prices are marked live, and results served from a short cache say so. You always know whether you are looking at a price fetched seconds ago or one held briefly to keep the search fast.
I got tired of
losing to the search box.
Miradore started as a personal annoyance. Three tabs open, the same trip priced three different ways, and the nagging feeling that leaving a day earlier would have cost half as much — but no easy way to check.
Every comparison site answers the small question well: what does this flight cost, what does that room cost. Almost none of them answer the one that actually matters when you are planning a holiday — what does the whole thing cost, and could the same trip cost less?
So I built the tool I wanted. You give it a budget. It searches real flights and real places to stay, keeps the running total in front of you, and when a nearby airport or a different departure day would save you money, it says so — with the actual numbers, from an actual search, not an estimate.
If the site tells you it found something cheaper, it went and looked. Nothing on Miradore is a guess dressed up as a number.
The total, always visible
Flight, room, the lot — with what is left of your budget. A cheap flight into an expensive week is not a bargain, and the site refuses to pretend otherwise.
Commission changes nothing
Some links earn me a commission. It costs you the same, and it has no effect on what ranks where. Cheapest is cheapest whether or not it pays.
You book with them, not me
I sell nothing and hold no money. Miradore finds it; the airline or hotel takes it from there, on their own site, under their own terms.
My name is Felician Roman. I build things in the United Kingdom, mostly at odd hours, under the name MiradoreMedia. Miradore is independent — no airline, no hotel group, no booking platform has a say in what it shows you.
The work behind it is mine: the search logic, the design, the decisions about what to show and what to leave out. If something on this site is wrong, there is no committee to blame — write to me and I will fix it.
A price that does not match, a hotel that looks off, a feature that behaves stupidly — those messages are more useful to me than compliments.
