1. Who runs this site
Miradore Travel Search ("Miradore", "the site") is operated by Felician Roman, an individual based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@miradoremedia.com.
2. What Miradore is — and what it is not
Miradore is a travel search and comparison tool. It shows flight and accommodation information gathered from third-party sources and links you to the providers who actually sell them.
Miradore is not a travel agency, tour operator, airline or hotel. We do not sell flights, rooms or holidays, we do not take payments, and we do not enter into any booking contract with you. Every booking is made directly with the provider you choose, under that provider's own terms.
Because we are not a tour operator and do not sell packages, purchases made through links on this site are not ATOL protected by us. Any financial protection depends entirely on the provider you book with. Please check this before you pay.
3. Accuracy of the information shown
Prices, availability, schedules, photographs, ratings and descriptions come from third-party data sources and change constantly. We show them in good faith but we cannot guarantee that any of it is accurate, complete or still available at the moment you look at it.
Some results may be served from a short-lived cache to keep the service running within our data limits. Where that is the case, the site says so. Always confirm the final price and the exact terms on the provider's own website before booking.
Parts of this site may still show clearly labelled demonstration data while features are being developed. Anything marked "EDITORIAL ESTIMATE" or "SAMPLE" is illustrative and does not represent a real offer.
4. Affiliate links and how we are paid
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and make a booking, we may receive a commission from the provider. This costs you nothing — you pay the same price you would pay going directly.
Commission does not buy placement. Results are ordered by the criteria you choose (price, duration, rating and so on), not by what pays us most.
5. Using the site
You may use Miradore for your own personal, non-commercial travel research. You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest or systematically copy content or data from the site;
- use automated tools to send large volumes of searches;
- attempt to interfere with, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the servers behind it;
- copy the site's design, code or written content for your own commercial use.
We may restrict or withdraw access if the site is being misused.
6. Availability
The site is provided "as is". We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change or be removed without notice. Third-party data sources may be unavailable, in which case parts of the site will not work.
7. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from: relying on information shown on this site; a booking you make with a third-party provider; the acts or omissions of any provider; or the site being unavailable.
Your rights as a consumer under UK law are not affected by these terms.
8. Third-party sites
When you follow a link to a provider you leave Miradore. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content, their terms, their privacy practices or the service they give you.
9. Intellectual property
The Miradore name, design, written content and code belong to us. Flight and accommodation data, hotel photographs and provider logos belong to their respective owners and are shown for the purpose of comparison.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
