Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
This site is run by Felician Roman, an individual based in the United Kingdom, acting as the data controller. Contact: hello@miradoremedia.com.
2. The short version
We do not ask you to register, we do not collect your name or email, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell anything about you to anyone. What we store stays in your own browser.
3. What we store on your device
Miradore keeps a small amount of information in your browser's local storage so the site is useful between visits. This is not a cookie and it is not sent to us for tracking:
- Your current search — origin, destination, dates, travellers, cabin class, budget and filters.
- Recent results — the flights and stays returned for your last search, kept for up to 24 hours so the pages still work when you come back.
- Details you opened — the full record of any property whose details you viewed.
- Your preferences — chosen language, currency and reduced-motion setting.
You can delete all of it at any time: use the "Reset journey" control on the site, or clear site data for miradoremedia.com in your browser settings. Nothing is lost that we hold elsewhere, because we do not hold it elsewhere.
4. What our server sees
When you search, your browser asks our server, which asks a third-party travel data provider on your behalf. Your search terms — such as airport codes, dates and number of travellers — pass through our server so the search can be performed. Your IP address appears in ordinary web server logs, as it does on any website.
We keep a short-lived cache of search results on the server so that repeated searches do not use up our data allowance. That cache is keyed on the search itself, not on who searched. We do not build a profile of you and we cannot connect a search to a person.
5. Third parties involved
- SerpApi — performs the flight and accommodation searches. Your search parameters are sent to them; your identity is not.
- Hostinger — hosts the site and its server, in the ordinary course of which server logs are generated.
- Google Fonts — supplies the fonts used on the site. Your browser requests these files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
- Travel providers — when you follow a link to book, you leave this site and that provider's own privacy policy applies from that point.
We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or advertising service on this site.
6. Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the provider or the affiliate network may set their own cookies to record that the visit came from us, so that any commission is attributed correctly. That happens on their side, under their privacy policy, once you have left this site.
7. Legal basis
Where the law requires a basis for processing, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing a working search service. The storage described in section 3 exists to deliver the service you asked for. We do not process any special category data, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
8. How long things are kept
- In your browser: until it expires (up to 24 hours for results) or until you clear it.
- Server-side result cache: a short period, typically hours to a few days.
- Server logs: kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. In practice we hold almost nothing about you, so most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser storage.
If you want to exercise a right, write to hello@miradoremedia.com. If you are unhappy with how we respond, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
10. Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated.
This policy describes how the site genuinely works today. It is written in good faith but it is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a solicitor. If the site starts handling accounts, payments or marketing, it will need revisiting.
